Three-dimensional movement control of micromanipulation system

Abstract: This paper presents a method of controlling the micromanipulation movement in three-dimensional way by using Joysticks. In the support of windows operating system, a general kind of joystick is used to control stepping motor in the subdivision mode and set the characteristic parameters of joystick to make three-dimensioned micromanipulation system move with accuracy. The movement range of this micromanipulation system is 1000mum with accuracy of 2mum, and its stepping length is down to 0.3mum. It meets the requirement of micromanipulation in the research field of biology cell.
