Abstract:In the year of 2012, the United States released the equity crowdfunding, while, at the same time, the majority of "crowdfunding platforms in China are still afraid to step into this area. This paper first analyzes the connotation and cause of this new Internet financial model, then compares the development status of equity crowdfunding between the two counties, next points out the problems of releasing equity crowdfunding in China. Finally, based on American experience, this paper puts forward the countermeasures under China's legal and financial environment.
