Abstract:Fibre reinforced thermoplastic composite has excellent properties in chemical resistant, shorter manufacture cycle, and can be reprocess etc. It can overcome many disadvantages of the thermoset composite, such as, low tenacity, low extension rate and early stress craze and so on. It can be used in harsh environment and in the situation that require higher load capacity. In this paper, the advance in the study of interface of fibre/thermoplastic composite was reviewed according to the principle of composite interfacial design, and the advantage and disadvantage of the interfacial testing methods with the Shear-lag model were analyzed.
