Abstract: The oxide layer on the surface of the nickel nanoparticles was removed by dilute HCl and subsequently modified by Oleic acid. The modify result had been investigated by means of active exponent, FT-IR, TGA-SDTA, network analyzer, surface resistivity diagonal test technique, etc.. The conclusion can be drawn that using 5.5wt.% Oleic acid can reach the ideal modification result. The mechanism of the chemical modification was discussed.
