Abstract: Three poly(aryl ether sulfone)s containing 1,4-naphthylene moiety were prepared by the nucleophilic polycondensation of 1-chloro-4-(4-chlorobenzenesulfonyl)naphthalene(CCBSN) with 4,4-isopropylidene diphenol(BPA), 1,4-hydroquinone(HQ) and 4-(4-hydroxyphenyl)(2H) phthalazin-1-one(DHPZ), respectively. The polymers were characterized by FT-IR,   .1H NMR, WAXD and TGA techniques.
