Abstract: The phenoxazine-based acceptor-donor-acceptor structured small-molecule material M1 is used either as a hole-transport material in (CH3NH3)PbI3-perovskite-based solar cells or as photoactive donor material in bulk heterojunction organic solar cells. Excellent power conversion efficiencies of 13.2% and 6.9% are achieved in these two types of photovoltaic devices, respectively. © 2015 WILEY-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim.
