Abstract:A three-component homogeneous catalyst system, composed of a cyclometalated iridium(III) photosensitizer, a bioinspired diiron complex, and TEA in aqueous acetone, proved to be catalytically active for photoinduced H(2) production, with up to 660 turnovers over 8 h of irradiation.
