Abstract:Ag/TS-1 was prepared by reducing AgNO3-containing single microemulsion with hydrazine. TEM characterization showed that Ag particles were highly dispersed on TS-1. Gas-phase propylene epoxidaiton with H2 and O2 was using as a probe to investigate Ag/TS-1 catalytic activity. 1.69% propylene conversion and 93.2% propylene oxide (PO) selectivity could be obtained over 1% (mass fraction) Ag/TS-1 at 30 min. When Ag loading exceeded 2%, the heat produced over high active Ag/TS-1 caused the decrease of PO selectivity. 2.46% propylene conversion with 79.2% PO selectivity could be obtained over 8%Ag/TS-1 when the heat effect was removed.
