Abstract: Ultramicropores with high surface areas (>530 m(2) g(-1)) and narrow micropore size distribution (4-6 angstrom) were engineered within a new cyanate ester resin, extending the microporous concept (<20 angstrom) to general thermosetting resins in the area of polymer chemistry.
