Abstract: Palladium-catalyzed carboxylative coupling of benzyl chlorides with allyltributylstannane was successfully conducted to produce benzyl but-3-enoates in satisfactory to good yields. The carboxylative coupling reaction occurred smoothly under mild conditions in the presence of palladium nanoparticles in tetrahydrofuran.
