Profile
2005 Ph.D. of Mechanical Engineering, Changwon National University, Korea. Employed by school of Materials Science and Engineering, DUT. 2015 Energy Materials & Devices Laboratory majoring in high-performance electrode materials. Plasmatic physical methods are combined with chemistry to design multi-type nanomaterials including nanoparticles, nanofilms and nano composites. Core-shell nanostructures are emphasized to realize their multi-functions of high energy density, high power density and cyclic stability. The efficiency of electrodes has been greatly improved in carbon/active material systems, providing solutions for long-term and high-density energy storage. We have conducted several national as well as provincial and ministerial research projects (NSFC projects, ‘973 national programs’ and ‘13th Five-year national key research projects’). The researches lead to the breakthrough of core-shell nanomaterials as electrodes and have been broadening their application in energy material domains.
