Abstract:Due to long-period errors, the baseline offsets of the integrated displacement data, by the double integral of acceleration history, are still very large, though the baseline of the seismic accelerogram has already been corrected. Simple time-domain measures for long-period correction of seismograms are presented based on the least-square curve fitting method, which can effectively improve the integral property of acceleration data with little change in the content of the spectrum characteristics and the engineering dynamic properties for dynamic interaction analysis. Practical applications reveal its efficiency and show that seismic wave input mechanism has great effects on the total response analysis of large-scale structure-foundation dynamic interaction system subjected to multi-input or traveling seismic excitations.
