Abstract:Researching on the #3 diversion tunnel and building up a set of microseismic monitoring system based on monitoring rock failure progress of TBM excavation for Jinping II Hydropower Station. According to analyzing datas for 3# diversion tunnel, summary laws of rock microfracture activities before rockbursting. The results show that microseismic events possess some certain characteristics in space-time distribution: the number of events, there is a growing tendency and gradually varying concentration from random discrete status, the accident generally occurs within a few hours or some days after excavation. Taking fully use of the potential information for forecasting in site rockburst in order to providing some related suggestion for construction and designers.
