Abstract: With the rapid development of urbanization, the problems of eco-environment and resources have drawn wide attention. The interaction between urbanization and eco-environment is the direct driving force to promote the urban sustainable development. Based on the coordinated development between urbanization and ecological environment, this paper constructs a set of indicator system to measure the development level between urbanization and ecological environment, by using the means of the AHP and entropy, the weight of each indicator is calculated. The coordinated development formula is used to carry on the measurement and the evaluation on the coordinated development of urbanization and ecological environment of 17 cities in Shandong province. ? 2010 IEEE.
