Abstract:A system of producing scrap rubber powder with wave cryogenic technology is put forward. Main equipments such as wave refrigerator, vortex pulverizer and fluidized cooler are presented. The key techniques about silica gel refreshing in desiccators and system drying are discussed. The potential improvement of the system is pointed out. The manufacturing cost is lower than the cost of liquid nitrogen cryogenic method, and the quality is better than that of normal temperature milling. Moreover, wave refrigerators have several advantages over turbine expenders applied in the cryogenic milling system.
