Research on the intelligent design method of block lifting in shipbuilding

摘要:Block lifting is the main work in the whole shipbuilding process. It has been more difficult to accomplish the project successfully due to the increasingly scale and structural complexity of blocks. The safety and efficiency of the operation are greatly influenced by the quality of block lifting design. Now in most shipyards, experienced based design method is a main approach to block lifting design, and there remains a large gap to a higher automated and effective stage in this field. To overcome the presented problems and difficulties in block lifting design, intelligent algorithms for VLCC are proposed in this research. In the algorithm, the methods like data extraction method, group technology based category analysis method and iteration based optimization method are discussed. By using of the algorithm, the problems like identification of characteristic panels, remove of interference parts, dynamic adjust of lugs are solved. Moreover, an algorithm based computer tool which could be used for block lifting design is developed. At last, the reliability of the proposed algorithm is validated and revised in the numerical tests by using of the tool. ? 2013: The Royal Institution of Naval Architects.
