1. Study on long lifetime luminescent probes;
2. Study on photoluminescence and electroluminescence multi-signal probes.
(1) Application of transition metal luminescence probes and time-resolved detection technology in biological detection:
Compared with organic fluorescent dyes, transition metal complexes have the advantages of long luminescent lifetime, visible light excitation, good biocompatibility and large Stokes shift, which can effectively eliminate the interference of strong background fluorescence from complex biological samples and improve the sensitivity of fluorescence determination. Through modifying the ligands the complexes’ luminescent properties can be changed and the probes can specifically respond to the physiological molecules to be used in the detection of small active molecules and ions in vivo. The novel analysis methods based on transition metal luminescence probes with high time resolution, sensitivity and selectivity could be developed for the highly efficient identification of biologically active molecules in biomedical research.
(2)The study on PL and ECL dual-signal mode probes based on transition metal complexes, which can expand the application range of existing probes in the detection of physiological small molecules.
