Abstract:In order to improve the robustness and shorten the on-board computational time of reentry guidance law for Shuttle, one closed-loop longitudinal guidance scheme is designed by receding horizon control (RHC). Firstly, the reentry reference trajectory is obtained based on the prior knowledge from trajectory optimization. Then, the time-varying coefficient matrices A and B of linear differential equations are obtained by linearizing the dynamics equations. During the design of optimal control law, Hermite- Simpson (H-S) interpolation is used to discretize the performance index and dynamic equations. Finally, the control law is used to track the reference trajectory. The simulation results indicate that Shuttle can track the reference trajectory closely and satisfactory real-time and strong robustness against the uncertainties of aerodynamic coefficients and atmospheric density are shown in tracking control system. ? 2015, ICIC International.
