Lin Lin received the Ph.D. degree from Graduate School of Information, Production and Systems, Waseda University, Japan, in 2008. He is a Professor with the DUT-RU International School of Information Science and Engineering, Dalian University of Technology, China, and a Senior Researcher with Fuzzy Logic Systems Institute, Japan. He was a Research Assistant and a Visiting Lecturer with In-formation, Production and Systems Research Center, Waseda University from 2006 to 2010. His research interest includes computational intelligence and their applications in combinatorial optimization and pattern recognition.
