Abstract:Power Tool Rest is a key functional component of CNC machine tools,which directly affects the cutting machine cutting performance and efficiency.Now,domestic research on comprehensive performance testing of power tool rest is not enough,which seriously restrict the development of the CNC lathe and compound milling-lathe machining center industry.In view of this,comprehensive test scheme and measuring method of characteristic parameters of power tool rest are presented in this paper to meet the demands of executing the on-line test of the parameters of location accuracy,acceleration,velocity,temperature rise,thermal deformation,micrometric displacement,noise,torque,etc.Based on the test principle and methods,test system is developed.Virtual instrument platform Labview is utilized to develop the measuring software which integrates multiple functions such as data acquisition,data processing,data display,data storage and reports generation.Finally,the measuring software has been set up and tested through multi-channel simulation signals inputted and MAX management software of hardware.The test results indicate that the measuring software have expressed a sound availability.
