Abstract:The overall structual design of machine tool should be verified to ensure the accuracy of the machine tool meeting the requirements of micro-milling machining.Using the Pro/E software the assembly geometric model of a vertical CNC micro-milling machine tool is established according to the corresponding components' actual structure,sizes and the composition characteristics.Based on the theoretical,experimental and finite element simulation analysis method,the static analysis and the dynamic characteristic analysis of the designed vertical CNC micro-milling machine tool are conducted using the ANSYS software,the overall structual design of the micro-milling machine tool is analyzed to check whether it meets the requirements of the micro-milling machining,and a novel method for the overall structual design of machine tool is proposed too.
