Abstract:The mechanical and electrical courses system face serious troubles,including the imperfection of the course system,the lack of continuity and systematization in knowledge networks,the obsolescence of the content of courses,the outdated theory-oriented teaching mode,lack of the measurement and control experiments related to practical engineering problems,etc.Guided by the requirements of creativity,practicability,comprehensiveness and results oriented of the emerging engineering,a project-oriented reform towards traditional electromechanical courses needs to be carried out.This program is inspired by some worldwide successful engineering educational experience,which emphasizes the cultivation of experimental and practical skills.With the clue of solving complicated electromechanical controlling issues,this project gets rid of the restrictions of traditional electromechanical courses by mixing up the new measurement and control technology with the conventional content,to construct a project-guided electromechanical course system and to redesign the course content.Besides,this program explores a new teaching mode which trains emerging engineering abilities by combining classes,experts of companies and experiments,and fuses the theory and engineering practice organically.Through the program,the theoretical teaching and practice of the mechatronics will be united,and the goal of cultivating competent students adapting to the emerging engineering requirements will be achieved.
