Abstract:Reducing energy consumption of cutting is one of important means to achieve low carbon manufacture progress, the premise of reducing energy consumption of manufacturing is how to estimate the machining energy consumption correctly. Based on the summary of a lot of literatures, this thesis analyzes and includes the research of low energy consumption cutting;the research methods of low energy consumption cut-ting based on carbon emission quantitative analysis were discussed systematically; the quantitative analysis model of energy consumption was elaborated; also, the carbon emission quantitative analysis of machining process was discussed deeply. Based on these works, the deficiency of the research of low energy consump-tion cutting was pointed out and the direction for future research was proposed.
