Abstract: The G-code compiling process of the micro-milling machine NC system based on PMAC is summarized and a G-code compiler module is designed utilizing compiler theory,software engineering concept and VC＋＋6.0 software programming tool.The G-code compiler includes code inspection function and code conversion function,which can compile G codes generated by PRO/NC module of Pro/E into the instructions recognized by PMAC.The G-code compiler module has a friendly interface,and the operation is simple.The machining example showed that the designed G-code compiler can realize the automatic processing of the small components with complex geometric features.
