Abstract:In order to overcome the shortcomings of limited life and large maintenance of DC motor in mechatronic inerter, a scheme of applying repetitive-single-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor(RPMSM) to mechatronic inerter is proposed, and a control strategy of power electronic converter based on position feedback is given. The simulation results show that the mechatronic inerter with RPMSM has the advantages of good linearity, wide stability frequency domain and better applicability. It is a feasible scheme for manufacturing new types of mechatronic inerters.
