Danish Ali completed his Ph.D. in Mathematical Sciences in December 2023 from Dalian University of Technology under the supervision of Professor Lei Fengchun. His research interests span a wide range of topics in pure and applied mathematics, including low-dimensional topology, knot theory, knot invariants, algebraic topology, graph theory, combinatorics, and differential geometry.
Throughout his academic career, Danish Ali has been recognized for his outstanding achievements. His exceptional performance during his undergraduate studies earned him the prestigious Gold Medal from his department, marking the beginning of his illustrious academic career. In 2023, he was awarded the Academic Star of the Year by Dalian University of Technology, a testament to his exceptional contributions to the field of mathematics. He has also received the Best Research Innovation Award (2022) and the Second Prize Award (2023) at academic forums organized by DUT. Additionally, Danish was awarded the Liaoning Government Scholarship for his Ph.D. studies and the Chinese Government Scholarship for his MS and language studies.
