Abstract:Numerical simulation of cross mixing flow field in a tube-reactor is presented. A computational program suitable to establishing a block-structured mesh of complex body is compiled by the block-structured method and mesh-splicing technique. The modified k-�� turbulent model is used to describe the flow in the reactor, and the governing equations are solved by the method similar to SIMPLE method. Comparing computational results with cold model testing, a satisfying agreement has been obtained.
