Abstract:In this paper, in order to compute and analyze stress and strain of the impeller blade of a large type centrifugal compressor, the fluid-solid coupling technique is adopted to solve the fluid and solid coupling equation of design condition and winter condition. The blade stresses mainly include tensile stress caused by centrifugal force, and bending stress caused by flow-field pressure in theory. In numerical simulation, the major influence factor is tensile stress caused by centrifugal force but it is also important that is bending stress caused by flow-field pressure. The simulation results indicate that there is an error of the situation of dangerous work face in single mechanical analysis; the fracture position of blade conforms to reality, and this provides a certain numerical simulation basis for the accident analysis in practice.
