Su Zhixun, graduated from the Department of Mathematics of Jilin University with a bachelor's degree in mathematics in 1987, graduated from Mathematics Institute of Nankai University with a master's degree in mathematics in 1990, received his doctor degree of Science from Dalian University of Technology in 1993. He is now a professor and doctoral supervisor of School of Mathematical Science, Dalian University of Technology, director of Key Laboratory for Computational Mathematics and Data Intelligence of Liaoning Province, and director of Lab of Computational Geometry, Graphics and Image, Dalian University of Technology. He is a member of the Standing Committee of China Society of Computational Mathematics, and a member of the Committee of Experts for the Geometric Design and Computation of the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics. Editor of 3 international journals. His research interests include computational geometry, computer graphics, image processing, computer vision, machine learning, and data analysis. As the person in charge, he undertook and completed a number of National Nature Science Foundation of China, NSFC-Guangdong Joint Fund (key) projects and sub-projects of National Science and Technology Major Project of "High-grade CNC Machine Tools and Fundamental Manufacturing Equipment", Ei Fund, NIH projects, etc. He has published 4 monographs and more than 170 academic papers, covering CVPR, ICCV, NIPS, AAAI, ECCV, SMI and other important international conferences and IEEE TPAMI, TVCG, TIP, TNNLS, PR, CAD, CAGD and other important journals. He has been awarded the First Award of National Defense Science and Technology by the Commission of Technology and Industry for National Defense of China, the Second Award of Science and Technology Progress by the Ministry of Education of China, the Third Award of Science and Technology Progress by the Ministry of Machinery Industry of China, and the Third Award of Science and Technology Progress by Liaoning Province. The Instructor of Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence (CAAI), and the Instructor of Excellent Doctoral Dissertation of Liaoning Province. He has also been awarded New Century Excellent Talents in University by the Ministry of Education of China, the Hundred Talents of The Talents Project of Liaoning Province, and Skeleton Young Teacher by the Ministry of Education of China.
