Abstract:To reduce the flow resistance of the plate-fin heat exchanger and improve the heat transfer efficiency,a heat transfer performance improvement method based on perforated fins heat exchangers is proposed and experimentally verified by PIV.Research has found that perforating on the fins of the plate-fin heat exchanger can destroy the heat transfer boundary layer between the fluid in the flow channel and the wall surface,change the local flow state from laminar flow to turbulent flow,and improve the heat transfer capacity without obvious pressure drop increase.Simulation parameter analysis shows that,under two different heat flux densities and different inlet mass flows,the heat exchange performance of the perforated fin heat exchanger is better than that of the plate-fin heat exchanger.
