Dr. Lin Lin received his Ph.D. from Waseda University, Japan, in 2008. He has served as an Assistant Lecturer and Visiting Lecturer at Waseda University, and as Chief Researcher at the Japan Fuzzy Systems Research Institute. He is currently a Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor at the School of Software, Dalian University of Technology, China. His research interests focus on computational intelligence and its applications in information systems, industry, and healthcare.

He has published English and Japanese monographs and over 100 academic papers in journals such as IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems, Computers & Industrial Engineering, International Journal of Internet Manufacturing and Services, and Journal of Intelligent Manufacturing, as well as in international conferences in related fields. His work has received more than 5,500 citations, with an h-index of 29 and an i10-index of 60. He has led projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and has participated in more than 20 major national projects, including the National Key R&D Program, the National 863 Program, and NSFC Key Projects.

Research Areas: We focus on addressing key bottlenecks in AI theory and applications, including data scarcity, security vulnerabilities, interdisciplinary integration, and model interpretability. Our research aims to empower AI-driven applications such as AI + Education and AI + Science. Research Directions: Large Language Models, Intelligent Agents, Knowledge Graphs, Few-Shot Learning, Adversarial Attacks and Defenses, Graph Neural Networks, Swarm Intelligence, and Brain-Inspired Cognitive Computing Models.
