Abstract:The purpose of this paper is to study the law of the deformation of crack surface considering the nonlinear character of rocks under high compressive loading. The methods of complex function and conformal transformation are used to build the equation that describes the deforming crack surface, and further the parameters of the equation are solved in the way of integral equation method. The above result will provide the theoretical basis both for the study of closing law of crack surface under compressive loading and the study of the crack deformation's influence over the crack's breaking load. In the final, the nonlinear character of the deformation is analyzed by the different displacement parameters between the nonlinear method and linear method, and the results show nonlinear character is remarkable in some conditions, which should not be neglected, especial under the high loading.
