Profile
Lei DU was awarded a BS in applied mathematics in 2006 and an MS in computational mathematics in 2008 both from Dalian University of Technology. He was awarded a doctoral degree in engineering from Nagoya University in 2011 (Advisor: Prof. Shao-Liang Zhang). Then he was a postdoctoral research associate at University of Tsukuba from 2012–2014 (Mentor: Prof. Tetsuya Sakurai). Since 2014, he has been a member of the faculty in the School of Mathematical Sciences at Dalian University of Technology. His research interests include numerical linear algebra and scientific computing, particular in the numerical solution of large sparse linear systems and eigenvalue problems.
