Dr.Li is a professor, Ph.D Supervisor in Dalian university of Technology. He achieved Bachelor’s degree and Doctor’s degree in 2002 and 2006. He was a visit scholar at University of Illinois at Urbana and Champaign for one year. Scientific Aspect: Dr.Li has focused on the research work in the field of disasters prevention and mitigation for many years. His research field includes Design and analysis of steel structures, Seismic and Vibration Reduction of Structures, Nonlinear dynamic analysis method of structures.He has published many papers and patents,he honored "National Prize for Progress in Science and Technology" and Participant of the "Program for New Century Excellent Talents " of Ministry of Education of China many times , research results are applied in the "5.12 Wenchuan earthquake" post-disaster reconstruction and many other projects. Teaching Aspect: Dr.Li is the teacher of the course "Design Principles of Composite Structures "and the teaching quality is excellent. In the class he focuses on the combination of interest and logic of the students. He was the winner of the" first prize of Dalian University of Technology young teachers lecture contest"、 "Dalian University of Technology Quality Award"、"Excellent workers of Dalian University of Technology".
