We focus on Knowledge Discovery on the Internet and try to find potential, valuable and novel knowledge patterns. At the same time, we pay more attention to people's psychological state reflected in social media. We use natural language processing technology to analyze people's emotion, sense of happiness, sense of humor, depression, suicide and stress. Our goal is to use natural language processing technology to serve the society, understand people's demands from the physical and psychological aspects, and better create a relaxed atmosphere for technology to benefit mankind.

My resrearch areas include natural language processing,information retrieval,information recommendation,sentimental analysis,social computing,social media processing,biomedical text mining. I am willing to accept the master and phd candidate qualified for "good at mathematics,skilled in programming,and with good attitude". 

I have published more than 150 SCI-indexed papers, as well as more than 100 international conference papers(IJCAI,WWW,ACL,EMNLP,CIKM,COLING,BIBM etc. ). I have presided over more than 10 National Natural Science Foundation projects and National High Tech Projects. I have served as the Chair of the Programming Committee of many national  conferences or as a Programming Committee Member of  several international conferences.
