Abstract:During the whole lifecycle of construction project, significant number of complex data and information written in Chinese are generated, a. large percentage of them are stored in various types of unstructured documents. These documents provide invaluable resource for further information retrieval and knowledge reuse in the future construction process. Traditional document management system can not meet the needs of knowledge reuse and information retrieval. In view of this, this paper adopt ontology to support construction project document management process, and propose framework to integrate unstructured Chinese text and model object in Industry Foundation Class (IFC) by means of designed contract domain ontology. On this basis, the Unstructured Chinese text information management level can be improved effectively.
