Abstract:It is difficult to manage and utilize document information in construction industry efficiently,building information model(BIM)-based construction text information integration management can improve the efficiency of project management to a large extent. The concept of BIM and the data exchange standard(industry foundation class,IFC)are introduced. BIM-based Chinese text information integration method is proposed. First,project documents are classified according to each of the class defined in IFC. Then,the API provided by Revit is used to extract the model object property information,which can be used for creating the query vector. By evaluating the similarity between the query vector and document vector,the most similar documents are retrieved. Finally,the relevant documents can be associated with their related project objects using an external resource reference to realize the integration of text information and project model. A slab and the relevant documents are used as example to validate the proposed methodology. The proposed method can support the development of BIM-based construction project document integration management system.
