Miao Zhang obtained her B.S. in Computer Science from the Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada, in 2005, and obtained her Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering from the Kwangwoon University, South Korea, in 2012. She was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Game and Mobile Contents at Keimyung University, South Korea, and was also an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Computer Science at DigiPen Institute of Technology, U.S.A., from 2013-2015. Dr. Zhang joined the School of Software Technology at the Dalian University of Technology as an Associate Professor in March 2015.  Her research nterests include Salient Object Detection, Video Segmentation, Underwater Object Detection, Multimodal Information Fusion, 3D Imaging and Display. She has published more than 60 SCI and EI search papers in top journals and conferences in related research fields, including CVPR, ICCV (oral), ECCV, NuerIPS, AAAI, IJCAI, ACM MM, IEEE-TIP, IEEE-TCBY, IEEE-TMM, OL, OLEN, ect.
