Abstract:With the methods of co-citation analysis and multivariate statistical analysis, it divided knowledge manage-ment (KM) into five genres including strategy genre, organizational transformation genre, process genre, technology genre, and application genre. Furthermore, using meta-analysis, it revealed research characteristics and future devel-opment directions of the five genres from the aspects of research contents, theoretical basis, research methods, and an-alytical levels and so on. Lastly, it summarized the main content of KM research, and explored the definition and con-notation of KM, which aimed to provide reference for future research.
