Abstract:In this paper,a fast precise integration method (FPIM)for computing the
   dynamic responses of large-scale structural systems has been proposed.By
   using the sparse property of system matrix and especially the physical
   nature of the system,the special structure of matrix exponential was
   given,then a fast algorithm for computing matrix exponential and the
   dynamic responses of large-scale structural systems was proposed.The
   numerical examples illustrate that the proposed method is fast and
   accurate.
