Abstract:In this paper, an efficient algorithm was proposed for computing the
   dynamic response of periodic structures. Based on precise integration
   method, by using the symmetry of periodic structures and the physical
   feature of dynamic structures, the special structure of matrix
   exponential for periodic structures was given, and then an efficient
   algorithm for computing matrix exponential and the dynamic response of
   periodic structures was proposed. The algorithm is confirmed to be
   efficient and memory-saving.
