Personal Information

Dr Tiesheng Wang (王铁胜) is an Associate Professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Dalian University of Technology. He holds joint affiliations with the Key Laboratory for Micro/Nano Technology and Systems of Liaoning Province and the Liaoning Huanghai Laboratory. Dr Wang's research advances next-generation manufacturing technologies for functional micro/nano-materials and structures, underpinned by innovative materials chemistry approaches, to enable transformative interactive systems (actuation and sensing).

With approximately 30 publications in leading international journals-including Nature Communications and the Journal of the American Chemical Society-his work has garnered significant recognition. Notable honours include a Gold Medal (Ranked 2/15) at the 49th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva and the Cambridge CSAR PhD Student Award.
