Dr. Jia Yao is a professor at the School of Economics and Management, Dalian University of Technology. His main research areas include transportation network analysis, transportation system reliability, publication transportation and shared mobility, and transportation big data analysis. He is principal investigator of several projects from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, CCF-DiDi Big Data Lab and the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities. His research works are mainly published in Transportation Research Part B, Transportation Research Part E, Transportation Research Part C, Transport Policy, Transportmetrica A, Transportatioon Letters，Journal of Transportation Engineering-ASCE. Currently, he serves as the chairman of the Technical Committee on Transportation Network Analysis and Optimization of the Transportation Planning Department of the World Transport Convention, the young editorial board member of the Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering (English edition) and review editor of the Frontiers in Future Transportation. He is also the reviewer for many famous international transportation journals, such as Transportation Research Part A/B/C/D, IEEE Transactions on ITS, Networks and Spatial Economics, Transportmetrica A, IET ITS, International Journal of Sustainable Transportation, Journal of Transportation Engineering Part A, Transportation Research Record.
