Abstract:Polylactides (PLA) and its polymer materials can be degraded by organisms and have good biocompatibility, so that they are widely used as biomaterials and medicinal materials. In this paper, lactide and glycolide were synthesized from lactic acid and glycolic acid respectively; a set of homopolymerizations of lactide with stannous octoate as an initiator and laurly alcohol as a regulator was carried out. We gained a series of homopolymers and copolymers with different monomer proportion. The request of a surface coating of cardiovascular stent is that it can be degraded in 60 to 90 days and has no toxicity, good mechanism property and good biocompatibility with human.
