Abstract:Supply air system is the key subsystem to implement accurate and stable control of the indoor air temperature in the built environment chamber. Aiming at the control of the supply air temperature and indoor air temperature of the chamber system, the paper carries out the fuzzy control experiments and PID control experiments for the controlled loops of both supply air temperature and indoor air temperature based on adjusting the electrical heater set in the supply air system. Two types of fuzzy control are used in the experiments which are basic fuzzy control, self-abstracting rules fuzzy control (SARFC) with zero initial control rules. For the control loop of supply air electrical heater and supply air temperature without time delay, PID control performs a better control performance of a fast constringency speed in the experiment than the fuzzy control, and there is a small stable error in the control experiments of the basic fuzzy control, and a higher overshoot, faster constringency speed and little stable error in the control experiments of SARFC. For the control loop of supply air electrical heater and indoor air temperature with a large time delay, SARFC has a satisfied control performance with little overshoot and stable error than the basic fuzzy control. Therefore, according to the experimental results, SARFC control is particularly suitable to be used in control process with a large time delay.
