摘要：A novel phononic crystal consists of slab with periodic holes and stubs was designed. The new designed phononic crystal can obtain wider band gaps and better vibration damping characteristics in comparison with the phononic crystal without periodic holes. The controlling of the BG is explained by the strain energy and the introduced effective mass. The effects of the radii of the stubs, the radii of the holes, and the heights of the stubs on the band gap and the vibration damping are further studied. Results indicate that the width of the first band gap can be increased and the corresponding vibration damping characteristics becomes better when the radii of the stubs, the radii of the holes, or the heights of the stubs are increased. ??? 2016, Chinese Ceramic Society.
