Abstract: This paper proposes a new decision making method to the multi-attribute decision making problem, in which attribute values are hesitant fuzzy linguistic numbers and attribute weights information is incomplete or completely unknown. At first, the comprehensive weight optimization model is constructed on the basis of considering the subjective and objective constraints at the same time. Then, the alternatives are ranked with the VIKOR and the distance formula of hesitant fuzzy linguistic. Finally, a numerical example is presented to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method. © 2016 ICIC International.
