Abstract: The effects of solvent post-treatment on separation properties of PPESK hollow fiber membrane are studied. Not only adjusting surface pore distribution but also reducing surface porosity to improve the surface compactness of the membrane is as a result of PPESK resolution and swelling in the surface defect pores. The test shows that the O2/N2 selectivity increases from 0.94 to above 1.00 and has a long stability.
