Abstract: A new copoly(ether ketone ketone)(NPEKK)has been synthesized from 4,5-bis(4-fluorobenzoyl)-1-methylcyclohexene,4-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-2,3-phthalazin-1-one and 2,2-p-hydroxyphenyl-iso-propane via nucleo-philic polycondensation reaction.The ring-closing reaction of NPEKK with hydrazine gives the cyclizing product CNPEKK.The new polymers have been studied with FT-IR,DSC and TGA.It has been proved that the synthesized poly(ether ketone ketone)s is very soluble in many organic solvents,thermal stable and have good tensile properties.While,CNPEKK is more stable,but less soluble.
