基于Euler法的冷喷涂粒子与基体高速冲击过程数值分析

Abstract: Numerical simulation of particle impact behavior in cold spraying was conducted for copper by using LS-DYNA program based on Euler method. The results show that when Lagrange method is used, high impact velocity leads to the excessive distortion of the element, resulting in the termination of the program. The simulation results appear to a little difference from the experimental results. However, the simulation results calculated by Euler method compares fairly well with the experiment results, which means Euler method may be more suitable to simulate the impact process in cold spraying. Moreover, the result of the multiple particles impact process calculated by Euler method is also consistent with the experimental result.
